Animal Services

The City of Bruceville-Eddy Police Department is responsible for the provision of animal services.

It is the intent and purpose of the City of Bruceville-Eddy’s Animal Services to provide a safe and healthy environment within the city for both animals and people. While a person may own and keep animals within the city, the conduct of those animals and the conditions that the animals are kept in should be safe and healthy and should not infringe on the surrounding homes and their inhabitants.

The City of Bruceville-Eddy provides animal control services to our citizens on a limited basis.

Services we offer include:

Enforcement of animal control ordinances such as microchipping, spay/neuter, animals at large, animal dumping, noise complaints, dangerous animals/animal bites, pet limitations, and rules for livestock.

No cost pet microchipping by appointment

Collection of deceased animals along public streets

Assitance in locating new homes for animals for those who can no longer take care of their animals.
