Warning: If you are paying online for your citation, please make sure you are using the official City website: www.bruceville-eddy.us.
DO NOT pay through an unofficial website such as DOXO.com. These types of websites state it is a way to pay the City of Bruceville-Eddy, but they do not have permission to take payments on our behalf. These sites send us a check for the payment after you have paid them online. These payments take several days or up to a week or more to get to us. This may cause late payments for your citation.
We will NOT accept DOXO.com payments as a form of payment and will have to return these checks to the defendant if we receive one. Online payments will be accepted through our official City website only. The Municipal Court will not accept personal checks, ACH bank drafts, electronic checks, bill pay checks, or DOXO.com checks. Acceptable forms of payment for the court are by cashier’s check, money order, cash, or credit card at www.bruceville-eddy.us only.
If you are financially unable to pay your fine or court costs fully, in one payment, there are other options, such as time-payment plans and community service hours instead of paying the fine and court costs. You can set up a time to see the judge and give him sworn testimony regarding your financial situation. In certain situations of extreme financial hardship, the judge may reduce the fine and court costs or eliminate them completely, depending on the severity of your financial situation.
