2026 City Election
Local elections are pivotal in shaping communities, as they determine the leadership. Our general elections are held in November. These elections ensure citizens have a say in selecting their Council representative and providing input on policies and projects that impact the community.
The City Council positions for the November 3, 2027, General Election are three (3) City Council member at-large positions.

- Early Voting in Person Begins: Monday, October 19, 2026
- Early Voting in Person Ends: Friday, October 30, 2026
- Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
- Voter Registration Deadline: Monday, October 5, 2026
- Last day for Elections Office to receive an Application for Ballot by Mail or Federal Post Card Application (FPCA): Friday, October 23, 2026
Texas Eligibility Requirements for Public Office
- Citizen of the United States
- 18 years old
- Have not been determined mentally incompetent by a final judgment in court
- No felony convictions
- Resided in the state continuously for the previous 12 months
- Must satisfy any other eligibility requirements prescribed by law for this office
