Water Billing Audit Underway

Water Company of America will be in the Bruceville-Eddy area starting the afternoon (7/9/2024) to perform an audit of our Water System’s accounts. The purpose of this audit is to confirm that we are fairly and accurately billing our customers for utility services. The City has hired them as an independent third party to spot-check water meters across the system, which they will be assessing from July 2024 through June of 2027 on a semi-regular basis.

If you see personnel from this company, please know it’s a legitimate contractor hired by the City of Bruceville-Eddy. They should also have an authorized letter on hand for citizens in the field explaining what they’re doing. If any discrepancies are found, they will be addressed on an individual basis.
