NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
The city will be using a notification system called Savvy Citizen. This program is used by other local and counties.
Citizens are encouraged to download the app but is not MANDATORY! Sign up for notifications and start receiving up to date information.
There is NO fee to the customer. Notifications include weather and traffic directly from the emergency notation system. Citizens can select other communities they would like notifications from like county, Hewitt or any area that uses the program.
The notification system will notify citizens via text, email or both depending on what you select when you sign up.
With the consent of the Mayor, the city administrator found this program to be the easiest and most beneficial to the citizens.
Any problems with the notification system is resolved by contacting Savvy Citizen directly. The city employees do not have any access to your information.
