Update
Citizens, We are all working delinquently to provide the best services possible under these extreme and frustrating conditions.
Our top priority is keeping everyone safe! We realize the frustrations of having no power, water, and treacherous road conditions. Please feel free to contact the city administrator at 254-709-3087 or sbishop@bruceville-eddy.us. I will do everything in my power to aid you.
Our police chief has been working around the clock to keep the citizens and community safe.
Please keep in mind we are experiencing extremely high call volumes in all departments of the city. We are extremely limited in resources at this time.
If you have a water emergency, please dial the on-call Phone number at 254-640-0721, and the scheduled operator can assist you. Remember this is a cell phone; if the phone is unanswered, we are on the other line.
The above number is not for Turn on; Turn offs, payments, nor dispute bills. That must be done during regular business hours at the Water Company, 143 Wilcox Drive, Eddy.
If you have an emergency that requires immediate assistance, call 911.
For stranded motorists, those without power, and anyone in need of warmth, warming stations are available at locations across the state.
The National Guard is deployed across Texas to conduct welfare checks and assist local authorities in helping those in need find a local warming station.
To find the closest warming shelter, please use the map below, or for information on additional assistance and resources, call 2-1-1.
