The city of Bruceville-Eddy is asking residents to conserve water as power outages across the state have significantly impacted the water supply across the state. Bluebonnet Water Supply is going down.
The city of is now implementing water restrictions to conserve and a call for reducing demand by due to major water system failures across the entire state.
The city is asking residents to conserve water over the next 72 hours by:
Not storing large amounts of water by filling bathtubs or other containers.
If water lines are frozen, email sbishop@bruceville-eddy or callĀ 254-640-0721. The city will send a crew to shut off water at the meter.
Dripping faucets should be turned off once temperatures reach 30 degrees.
Avoid using washing machines or dishwashers.
Store one gallon of water per person for the next 24 hours. If dripping faucets drip into containers.
