Notice is hereby given that a PUBLIC HEARINGS will be held by the governing body of the City of Bruceville-Eddy on the 9th day of September, 2021 at 6:30 P.M., in the
City Hall Council Chambers
144 Wilcox Drive, TX 76524
at which time the following subjects will be discussed, and or approved, to-wit:
Public Hearing
- Public Hearing: Open Public Hearing on proposed general fund budget.
- Public Hearing: Open Public Hearing on proposed water fund budget.
- Public Hearing: Notice of public hearing 2021 Tax Rate City of Bruceville-Eddy to ADOPT A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE ANDOPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 4.19 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $0.00.
All items on the agenda are for discussion and/or action. The City Council reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices,) and 551.086 (Economic Development).
