Boil Water Notice has been put into place until further notification. Due to conditions which have occurred recently in the alleyway of 3rd Street.

Customers are asked to boil water for consumption as a precaution until the results from the bacteriological samples are available.

The boil water notice states that water for consumption, cooking and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to consumption.

Boil water notices are issued as a precaution, they are NOT notification of contaminated water. When an event such as a water main break occurs and the water pressure drops below 20 psi, the City issues a boil water notice and collects bacteriological samples for testing.

As soon as the results from the bacteriological samples are available, water system officials will notify you that the boil water notice has been lifted and it will no longer be necessary to boil the water.
